Swish’s Wishes Recent Activity
“Swish’s Wishes” works in the community nationwide to make a difference in the lives of children. If you’re interested in what we’ve been up to lately, check our our recent activity. And, if you want to get involved in any way, please let me know.
* LYNN SAGE CANCER FOUNDATION: Supported the Lynn Sage Cancer Foundation in Chicago to help cancer research and to help children dealing with cancer in their family
* JANET POMEROY CENTER: For the second year, provided a Christmas party and bought gifts for mentally and physically challenged children at the Janet Pomeroy School in San Francisco, CA
* ADAM BENDER FOUNDATION: Provided a grant to support children with physical challenges the opportunity to play sports in Kentucky.
* TONY LA RUSSA’S ANIMAL RESCUE FOUNDATION: Teamed with Barry Zito, CC Sabathia and Jake Peavy to fund “Camp ARF” and ARF’s Learning Center designed to help low income children and animals in need
* UCSF CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL: Purchased Christmas tree lights on the Macy’s Christmas Tree as part of a fundraising program to benefit UCSF Children’s Hospital in San Francisco. Served as the honorary chairman for the Christmas Campaign, the major fundraiser for Children’s Hospital.
* MILITARY FAMILIES APPRECIATION: Participated in adopting 25 military families in need and provided Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner as well as Christmas gifts for the children.

Hey Swish,
I would love to get involved in Swish’s Wishes. How can I help your charity? I love to do charity work and am into a lot of charity work myself. I help run a charity football game in my area. Its called MyCentralJersey.com Snapple Bowl and its Middlesex vs Union Counties in New Jersey. Its high school seniors that play in the game and it benefits the Lakeview School for Cerebral Palsy and the Children’s Specialized Hospital. I live in Brooklyn, NY and work in Manhattan. I also love children and animals and have been thinking about volunteering somewhere but do not know where or how to get started. I would love to adopt, however, I am a single parent and must work. In which organizations that you deal with, do you need support?

Hey, I’m a senior in high school and a die hard yankke fan and a very big fan of you too. Every time you go up to bat I just say how much I love you and the last time I said it someone told me about your website. Helping people is a passion of mine and I fell in love with the purpose of your charity. I would love to get involved since I am starting to have a lot of free time on my hands but according to your recent activities everything has been far from where I live. When you do something in New York City I would love to help so please let me know!!

Just wanted to thank you for your kindness this past Saturday here in Tampa. You were gracious to stop and great the kids from our church, take pictures, signed balls and gave them rings. My son expressed that this was one of the best days of his young life. I have just navigated your site and see that you are an all-around GOOD PERSON.
